Vilamoura Dolphin Spotting

Want to see dolphins in their natural habitat? On this boat ride around the coast of Vilamoura, we'll enjoy an exciting dolphin spotting activity.

Description

We'll meet at the Marina in Vilamoura at the indicated time and board a zodiac semi-rigid dinghy. We'll sail around the Benagil and Galé Caves to try to spot some dolphins. Along the journey, we'll learn about dolphin behavior and may see other sea creatures.

As we explore these waters of the Atlantic Ocean, we'll discover why dolphins prefer swimming near the sea caves and rocky formations along the southern coast of Portugal. We will also admire the landscape formed by rocky arches sculpted by nature. Remember to bring your cameras!

After a 2-hour boat ride, we'll conclude the tour at the starting dock.
