Visit to the Château de Luc

Description

Experience the wine culture of Luc-sur-Orbieu. On the activity day, we will meet at the entrance of the Château de Luc at the specified time. We will begin with a guided tour, learning about the Fabre family, who have owned the château since 1605. The estate has a history of producing wines of quality while respecting the land and vines.

During the tour, we will explore the main rooms of the Château de Luc, including its 15th-century underground cellar and 17th-century kitchen. We will learn about the organic techniques used to produce its wines, which are unique to Languedoc-Roussillon.

We will visit the old stables of the Château for a tasting of five or six organic wines, focusing on distinct notes in each bottle. Throughout the tasting, we will discuss the aromas and flavours and gain an understanding of wine and its evolution.

After an hour's visit, we will conclude the experience and say our goodbyes at the Château de Luc.
