At the scheduled time, we'll meet at the statue of Garibaldi in Piazza del Giglio. Here we'll begin a guided tour to discover the importance of Lucca in the history of music. Welcome to the city of the composer of La bohème!

During the tour, we will discuss Giacomo Puccini, notable for his contributions to international music, outside the Teatro del Giglio, an opera house dating back to the 17th century. We will explore the historic center of Lucca, highlighting key locations that influenced musicians such as Francesco Geminiani, Luigi Boccherini, and the Rolling Stones.

We will then visit Piazza Cittadella, where a sculpture honors Giacomo Puccini. We will review significant episodes from his life before entering the Puccini Museum, located in his birthplace. This exhibition features scores, instruments, letters, and other objects that belonged to the composer.

The tour will conclude after 2 hours at the Puccini Museum.
