Day Trip Details

We will meet at the bus parking lot in Landenberg and drive south towards scenic regions of Switzerland.

Our first stop will be in Entlebuch, a biosphere reserve. Following this, we will visit the Kambly biscuit factory in Trubschachen, where you will see the production process and enjoy a tasting.

Next, we will proceed to the capital of Switzerland for a walking tour through the historic centre of Bern. We will pass by key landmarks, including the Bern Minster Cathedral, the Zytglogge clock tower, the Bundeshaus, and the Federal Palace of Switzerland along the river Aare.

At the end of the guided tour, you will have one hour of free time to relax or shop. We will then move to the outskirts to visit the Emmentaler cheese factory, where we will learn about cheese production and enjoy a tasting.

Afterward, we will visit a local dairy farm for photos with Swiss cows. On clear days, the Eiger, Mönch, and Jungfrau peaks may be visible.
