Guided Mount Pilatus Golden Round Trip

After meeting at the Landenberg bus park at the indicated time, we'll depart through the Swiss countryside towards Kriens, starting our "golden round trip" via the panoramic gondolas to Fräkmüntegg. During the half-hour cable car ride, enjoy views over the forests of Krienseregg and surrounding areas.

Upon arrival in Fräkmüntegg, we'll take the Dragon Ride, an aerial cableway providing a unique perspective of the Swiss Alps. At the summit of Mount Pilatus, explore the Dragon's Trail or walk to the mountain's peak, visit the observation terrace, and enjoy Alpine cuisine in one of the restaurants.

After maximizing your time at Mount Pilatus, we'll descend to Alpnachstad via the world's steepest cogwheel train, followed by an hour-long boat cruise on the Lake of the Four Cantons. The tour concludes back at the starting point after approximately 5.5 hours.

Itinerary Changes

The itinerary will be modified as follows:

Dragon Ride Cable Car: operational year-round, except from October 20th to November 7th 2025 for maintenance. During this period, ascent and descent will be by cogwheel train.Boat trip: available from May 12th to November 14th 2025. From October 20th to November 14th 2025, this trip will be replaced by a meal ticket.
