Guided Mount Pilatus Golden Round Trip
After meeting at the Landenberg bus park at the indicated time, we will set off towards Kriens to begin our "golden round trip" on the panoramic gondolas to Fräkmüntegg. During the half-hour ride, enjoy views over the forests of Krienseregg and surrounding valleys and mountains.
Arriving in Fräkmüntegg, we'll board the Dragon Ride, an aerial cableway providing views of the Swiss Alps. Once at the peak of Mount Pilatus, explore the Dragon's Trail or walk to the summit. Visit the observation terrace for views of surrounding mountains and lakes, and enjoy Alpine cuisine at one of the restaurants.
After your time at Mount Pilatus, we will descend to Alpnachstad on the world's steepest cogwheel train. The adventure continues with an hour-long boat cruise on the Lake of the Four Cantons, offering views of Swiss Alpine landscapes. The tour concludes back at the starting point after a total of 5.5 hours.
Itinerary Changes
The itinerary will be modified on the following dates:
Dragon Ride Cable Car: operational year-round, except between October 20th and November 7th 2025, when it will be closed for maintenance. Ascent and descent will be by cogwheel train.Boat trip: available between May 12th and November 14th 2025. Note that between October 20th and November 14th 2025, this ride will be replaced by a meal ticket.
