Discover the "top of Europe" on this day trip to Jungfraujoch, where you will explore glacier-marked valleys and peaks, and enjoy panoramic views of the Swiss Alps.
Day Trip Details
At the indicated time, we'll meet at Landenberg bus parking. The journey will take you through the rural landscapes towards the Bernese Oberland, known for its villages, mountains, and over 800 lakes. A stop will be made in Interlaken, before continuing to Grindelwald.
In Grindelwald, you'll ascend on the Eiger Express gondola lift to Glacier Eiger station. From there, board the cogwheel train through tunnels to reach Jungfraujoch, the highest train station in Europe.
Jungfraujoch, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, offers views of the Mönch and Jungfrau mountains and the Eiger glacier, along with attractions that provide an immersive experience of the Swiss Alps.
You will access the Alpine Sensation adventure tour, visiting the Sphinx Observation Terrace and Plateau viewpoint for views of Europe's longest glacier, Aletsch, and explore the Ice Palace.
We'll spend 2 to 2.5 hours at Jungfraujoch before descending via the cogwheel train, passing Kleine Scheidegg, Wengen, and Lauterbrunnen Valley, returning to Lauterbrunnen for the bus back to Lucerne, completing this 10-hour day trip.
