Your tour begins with a hotel pick-up in Lugo before heading towards the town of Castro de Rei, home to the ancient ruins known as the Castro de Viladonga.
Upon arrival at the pre-Roman hillfort, you'll undertake a guided tour of the archaeological site. Learn about the culture, customs, and way of life of the Celtic people who inhabited this area thousands of years ago. Examine preserved city walls, houses, and public buildings that offer insight into the "Castro culture" prevalent in these fortified settlements found throughout north-western Spain and Portugal.
