You will be picked up from your hotel on the day of your tour and depart from Lugo towards Castro de Rei, home of the ancient ruins known as Castro de Viladonga.
Upon arrival at the pre-Roman hillfort, you will participate in a guided tour of the archaeological site. This tour will cover the culture, customs, and way of life of the Celtic people who inhabited the area thousands of years ago. You will see well-preserved remains of city walls, houses, and public buildings that provide insights into the "Castro culture".
Further explore this historical era by visiting the Castro de Viladonga Archaeological Museum, where exhibitions including scale models and artifacts will enhance your understanding of daily life in pre-Roman Galicia.
