Mendoza River Rafting Activity
When making your booking, you'll choose between a 12 or 30-kilometre (7.4 to 18-mile) rafting route. We'll meet at your selected time at the Parque de Aventura in Potrerillos, next to the Mendoza River.
12-Kilometre Rafting Route (2 hours)
If you choose this option, we'll set off from the meeting point and drive along the Ruta 7 road for 15 minutes to access the Mendoza River.
After a brief introduction from our instructor, we'll begin the rafting activity. This experience is designed for beginners, as we'll navigate through 12 kilometres of class II and III moderate-difficulty rapids.
The rafting will last 60 minutes, after which we'll conclude the activity.
Schedule: This activity occurs from May to June at 11 am or 3 pm.
30-Kilometre Rafting Route + Lunch (5 to 6 hours)
On this route, we'll explore the area around Cerro Negro along the Mendoza River.
The activity lasts between 3 hours 30 minutes and 4 hours on a 30-kilometre (19-mile) route with class II and III rapids. A lunch break will be taken at the old Guido train station, featuring a country barbecue with sausages, vegetables, salad, and fruit, accompanied by wine, juice, or mineral water.
After lunch, we'll complete the rafting route toward the Tierras Coloradas area before returning to the starting point.
Schedule: This activity is available for booking between December and March at 11 am.
