Mendoza River Rafting Activity
During the Mendoza River Rafting Activity, you can select a 12 or 30-kilometre (7.4 to 18-mile) rafting route. All activities will begin at a meeting point in the Parque de Aventura in Potrerillos, next to the Mendoza River.
12-Kilometre Rafting Route (2 hours)
For the 12-kilometre option, we will drive for 15 minutes along the Ruta 7 to reach a location on the Mendoza River's banks. A brief introduction from the instructor will precede our activity. This route features class II and III moderate-difficulty rapids and is suitable for beginners, lasting 60 minutes.
Schedule: Available from May to June at 11 am or 3 pm.
30-Kilometre Rafting Route + Lunch (5 to 6 hours)
This option includes a journey towards Cerro Negro along the Mendoza River. The rafting will take approximately 3 hours 30 minutes to 4 hours over 30 kilometres (19 miles) featuring class II and III rapids. A lunch break will occur at the riverbank near the old Guido train station, featuring a country barbecue with sausages, vegetables, salad, and fruit, accompanied by wine, juice, or mineral water.
After lunch, we will continue rafting toward the Tierras Coloradas area before returning to the starting point.
Schedule: Available for booking between December and March at 11 am.
