Tour Details

On the day of the activity, you'll gather at Boulevard de la Pétrusse & Place de Metz at the scheduled time. The excursion begins with a journey through beautiful landscapes, showcasing Luxembourg’s natural wonders.

The audio-guided tour starts at the Mullerthal trail and Schiessentümpel waterfall, featuring a 45-minute nature hike through lush forest. You will end the hike at the picturesque waterfalls, a notable site in "Luxembourg’s Little Switzerland".

Next, we will travel to Beaufort to explore the historically significant Beaufort Castle, which comprises a medieval castle from the 11th century and a Renaissance chateau from the 1600s, open during spring and summer months.

Following Beaufort, we will visit the medieval town of Vianden for 2.5 hours of free time. Highlights include Vianden Castle, one of Europe’s largest feudal residences, known for its Gothic and Romanesque architecture.

The tour concludes in Echternach, the oldest town in Luxembourg, where you will have 45 minutes to explore the Basilica, the abbey, and the lively marketplace, which is significant in the region's religious history. The return journey will take 7 to 8 hours in total.
