Tour Details
On the day of the activity, you'll gather at Boulevard de la Pétrusse & Place de Metz at the scheduled time. The trip starts with a journey through lush green valleys, rivers, and forests showcasing Luxembourg’s natural wonders.
The audio-guided excursion begins at the Mullerthal trail and Schiessentümpel waterfall, featuring a 45-minute nature hike along the river. At the end, you'll reach the waterfalls, a prominent site known as "Luxembourg’s Little Switzerland".
Next, you will travel to Beaufort, where you can explore the historic Beaufort Castle in spring and summer. The castle consists of a medieval structure from the 11th century and a Renaissance chateau from the 1600s.
Following that, you'll visit the town of Vianden, located on the banks of the River Our. You will have 2.5 hours of free time to explore its rich history and notable Vianden Castle, one of Europe’s largest feudal residences from the Gothic and Romanesque periods.
The final stop is Echternach, the oldest town in Luxembourg, for 45 minutes of free time. Key sites include the Basilica, the abbey, and the bustling marketplace. The basilica houses the tomb of Saint Willibrord, while the abbey dates back to the 7th century.
