Route

  1. 1

    Edfu Temple

The Temple of Edfu, dedicated to Horus, the falcon-headed god of protection and kingship, is one of the best-preserved ancient temples in Egypt. Located between Luxor and Aswan, this impressive monument was built during the Ptolemaic period (237–57 BC).

  2. 2

    Kom Ombo Temple

The Temple of Kom Ombo is one of Egypt’s most unique ancient monuments, famous for its perfect symmetry and double dedication. Located on a hill overlooking the Nile River, this Greco-Roman temple was built during the Ptolemaic and Roman periods (180 BC – 47 AD).

  3. 3

    Luxor

In between or after the temple visits, you’ll enjoy a freshly prepared Egyptian lunch at a local restaurant or village stop. Expect traditional dishes like grilled meats, rice, tahini, and fresh bread — hearty, home-style flavors that offer a real taste of rural Egypt. It’s a great opportunity to relax, mingle with locals, and recharge before continuing your journey.
