Karnak Temple Guided Tour
On this guided tour, we will explore the secrets of the Temple of Karnak, a sanctuary dedicated to Amun and the main center of worship in Ancient Egypt. At the scheduled time, we will meet at the entrance of the Temple of Karnak and begin our guided tour.
The tour includes a visit to the largest temple in Egypt, built by pharaohs such as Hatshepsut, Seti I, Ramses II, and Ramses III between 2200 and 360 BC. The Karnak complex features various temples, several chapels, and a large sacred lake, which is a significant attraction.
A highlight of the Temple of Karnak is the Hypostyle Hall, notable for its 134 columns that impress with their size and preservation. Participants will also walk along the Avenue of the Sphinxes leading to the Temple of Luxor, where the meaning of the ram-headed sphinxes that guard the sanctuary will be revealed.
Upon concluding the two-hour guided tour, we will say goodbye at the starting point.
