Karnak Temple Guided Tour
On this guided tour of the Temple of Karnak, we will explore the sanctuary dedicated to Amun, the main center of worship in Ancient Egypt. The meeting point is at the entrance of the Temple of Karnak at the scheduled time.
The tour includes visits to the largest temple in Egypt, constructed by pharaohs such as Hatshepsut, Seti I, Ramses II, and Ramses III between 2200 and 360 BC. The Karnak complex features various temples, chapels, and a significant sacred lake.
A key highlight is the Hypostyle Hall, notable for its 134 columns that impress with their size and preservation. Additionally, we will walk along the Avenue of the Sphinxes leading to the Temple of Luxor and discuss the significance of the ram-headed sphinxes that guard the sanctuary.
After a two-hour guided tour, we will conclude at the starting point.
