This hot air balloon over Luxor means you'll float over the thousand-year-old Luxor temples as the sun rises, allowing you to get a bird's eye view of these majestic remains of the time of the pharaohs.

Pickup from your hotel in Luxor occurs early in the morning before sunrise. During the transfer to the launch site, you'll have tea, coffee, and a light breakfast.

Once the balloon is ready, you'll board the basket for a 50-minute flight over the temples of Luxor as the sun rises. The flight provides views of the ancient remains illuminated in orange and crimson light, reflecting on the River Nile.

You will see the Valley of the Kings, the Valley of the Nobles, and the Mortuary Temple of Hatshepsut, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, known for its impressive architecture and integration with the landscape. After the flight, you will receive a flight certificate commemorating the experience, followed by a return transport to your hotel.

Pickup

Luxor hotel/boat pickup and drop-off services are included for those staying on the east bank (right bank) of the Nile River. For accommodations outside this area, a meeting point will be arranged on the east bank. You will be returned to the same location after the flight.

A word of advice

It is recommended to reserve your hot air balloon ride early in your vacation to allow for rescheduling in case of weather-related cancellations.
