Rhone Valley Wine & Cheese Tasting
We'll meet in front of the Lyon Tourist Office at 2 pm. From there, you'll board a minibus to discover the Rhône Valley and its wines and cheeses. The route will take you through the Côte-Rôtie and the Pilat Regional Nature Park, known for its historic vineyards.
After a 30-minute drive, we'll arrive at a farm in the park, where you can meet a goat cheese producer. You'll begin a walk through the farm, meeting the goats and sampling their cheeses.
Following the cheese tasting, we'll take you to a nearby winery for a tasting of 5 local wines, paired with different cheeses. You will experience the notable appellations of Côte-rôtie, Condrieu, and Saint-Joseph.
The visit will conclude by returning to the Lyon Tourist Office, Place Bellecour at around 6 pm.
