Rhone Valley Wine & Cheese Tasting
We'll meet in front of the Lyon Tourist Office at 2 pm. From there, you'll board a minibus to discover the Rhône Valley and its wines and cheeses. The route will take you through the Côte-Rôtie and the Pilat Regional Nature Park, home to some of the oldest vineyards in France.
After a 30-minute drive, we'll arrive at a typical farm in the park, where you can meet a goat cheese producer. You'll begin a pleasant walk through the farm, meeting the goats and the cheeses they produce.
After filling up with cheese, we'll take you to a nearby winery, where you can taste wines. You'll enjoy a tasting of 5 local wines, accompanied by different cheeses. The greatest appellations of our area: Côte-Rôtie, Condrieu, and Saint-Joseph will be featured.
The visit will end by returning to the Lyon Tourist Office, Place Bellecour at around 6 pm.
