Immerse yourself in the magic of the ancient Inca Trail, which will lead us to the legendary citadel of Machu Picchu. We'll hike through the majestic Peruvian Andes on this 2-day excursion.

2-Day Trek to Machu Picchu

Day 1

We'll pick you up at your hotel in Urubamba at 6 am and travel by bus to the Ollantaytambo train station, where we'll board the train to kilometer 104, the starting point of the shorter version of the Inca Trail.

Upon arrival, we'll begin the 3-hour hike to Chachabamba and Wiñayhuayna. We'll enjoy a picnic lunch before continuing towards Inti Punko, the Sun Gate. Here we'll get a first glimpse of Machu Picchu at a viewpoint where we'll watch the sunset and take pictures. From Inti Punko, we'll take a bus to Aguas Calientes, where we'll check into the hotel for the night.

Day 2

We'll have breakfast at the hotel and take a bus up to Machu Picchu for a 2.5-hour guided tour. The guide will provide insights into this magnificent place, and we'll visit the key areas of the citadel. After the tour, you'll have free time to explore independently.

At the agreed-upon time, we'll take the bus back to Aguas Calientes for lunch. In the afternoon, we'll take a train to Ollantaytambo and drop you off at your hotel in Urubamba at 9:30 pm.

Accommodation

The tour includes one night's accommodation in a 3-star hotel in Aguas Calientes, varied based on the season or availability.

If the activity is cancelled due to strikes or bad weather, an alternative date will be provided. If rescheduling is not possible, you'll be refunded the full cost of the activity, excluding the Inca Trail entrance fees (approx. 292 PEN), which are non-cancellable.
