2-Day Trek to Machu Picchu

Day 1

Pickup at your hotel in Urubamba at 6 am for a bus ride to the Ollantaytambo train station. From there, board the train to kilometer 104, the start of the shorter version of the Inca Trail.

We will begin the 3-hour hike to Chachabamba and Wiñayhuayna, an important archaeological site. A picnic lunch will be provided before continuing towards Inti Punko, the Sun Gate.

At Inti Punko, enjoy the first view of Machu Picchu from a viewpoint during sunset. Afterwards, we will take a bus to Aguas Calientes for hotel check-in and rest.

Day 2

Breakfast at the hotel, followed by a bus ride to Machu Picchu for a 2.5-hour guided tour. Visit significant areas of this World Heritage Site. After the tour, enjoy free time to explore independently.

Meet at the agreed time to return by bus to Aguas Calientes for lunch. In the afternoon, take a train to Ollantaytambo and be dropped off at your hotel in Urubamba by 9:30 pm.

Accommodation

The tour includes one night's accommodation in a 3-star hotel in Aguas Calientes, subject to seasonal availability.

If the activity is cancelled due to strikes or adverse weather, an alternative date will be provided. If rescheduling is not possible, a full refund will be issued, excluding the non-cancellable Inca Trail entrance fees (approx. 292 PEN).
