Description

Pick up at your hotel early in the morning to head to the Ollantaytambo train station for the train to Aguas Calientes. The train journey features a scenic railway with a glass roof, providing stunning views of Andean landscapes. After an hour and a half, arrive in Aguas Calientes.

Board a bus to ascend to the ancient citadel of Machu Picchu. Begin a 2.5-hour guided tour where a guide shares stories and secrets of this historic site, including key locations like the House of the Guardian.

After the tour, return to Aguas Calientes for five hours of free time to explore and have lunch. Later, meet at the train station to return to Ollantaytambo.

The tour ends at your hotel between 6 and 7 pm.

If alternative routes are sold out, remaining options will include a scenic tour with an additional guide fee between 70USD (for 1 person) and 35USD (for 2 people).

If the tour is cancelled due to strikes or adverse weather, an alternative date will be provided. If rescheduling is not possible, a full refund will be issued, excluding the non-cancellable entrance fee to Machu Picchu (200 PEN).
