Day Trip to the Humantay Lagoon

At the scheduled time, we'll depart for the town of Mollepata. The early start is worthwhile.

Upon arrival in Mollepata, we will have a breakfast, then proceed to Soraypampa. Here, we will start our 1.5-hour hike to the Humantay Lagoon, situated at over 4200 meters (13,800 feet) above sea level.

Throughout the journey, enjoy the scenery and learn about the flora and fauna native to the region. After reaching the summit, you will have time to take pictures and appreciate the surrounding area.

We will return to the campsite for a traditional lunch while taking in the views.

Finally, we will head back to our meeting point.

Pickup

Pickup is only available from hotels in the Plaza de Armas and historic center of Urubamba, Ollantaytambo or Yucay. For those in more remote locations, a meeting point will be provided.
