At the designated time, you will board the luxury train to Cusco and depart from Aguas Calientes. Prior to boarding, you will enjoy afternoon tea at Sanctuary Lodge and have access to the VIP waiting room at the station. Onboard, you will receive a welcome cocktail as you travel through the Peruvian Andes on the Hiram Bingham.

The luxurious interior, inspired by the 1920s, alongside live music and shows, enhances your experience. A gourmet dinner à la carte, including a starter, main course, dessert, and drink, will be served before your arrival at the Poroy station in Cusco, after a journey of 3.5 hours.

Rainy Season

For trips during the rainy season from January 1, 2026, to April 30, 2026, contact Civitatis Customer Service for reservations. During this period, the trip will involve both train and bus travel.

The journey will begin on the Hiram Bingham train from Machu Picchu station to Rio Sagrado station. A private minibus will transfer you from there to your hotel in Cusco, or to the Plazoleta de las Nazarenas if not staying in the city center.
