At the designated time, we welcome you on board the luxury train to Cusco and depart from Aguas Calientes. Before boarding, you will enjoy afternoon tea at Sanctuary Lodge and access to the VIP waiting room at Aguas Calientes station. Once seated, a welcome cocktail is provided before beginning your journey on the Hiram Bingham train among the Peruvian Andes. The train is named after the explorer who rediscovered Machu Picchu.

Experience the luxurious 1920s-inspired interior, live music, and shows during the ride. A gourmet dinner à la carte is served before arriving at Poroy station in Cusco after 3.5 hours.

Rainy Season

For trips during the rainy season from January 1, 2026, to April 30, 2026, contact the Civitatis Customer Service for reservations. This season involves a train and bus journey. The trip starts on the Hiram Bingham train from Machu Picchu station to Rio Sagrado station. A private minibus transfer to your Cusco hotel is available if you are not in the city center, otherwise, you will be taken to Plazoleta de las Nazarenas.
