Machu Picchu & Aguas Calientes Bus Transfer

With your round-trip ticket, you'll skip the busy queues of travellers heading to Machu Picchu and set off in comfort from the centre of Aguas Calientes.

The bus to Machu Picchu from Aguas Calientes departs from Avenida Hermanos Ayar, and the journey takes 30 minutes in our air-conditioned vehicle.

Our bus follows the Hiram Bingham Route, covering a distance of 5 miles (8 kilometres) in a zig-zag pattern.

Skip the Lines

By booking this ticket in advance, you'll skip the long lines in Aguas Calientes for the public transportation tickets to Machu Picchu, especially in July and August. However, you will have to wait in queues to get on the bus.

Schedule and frequency

The bus transfer runs from 5:30 am to 5 pm, with departures every 10 minutes.

Your ticket won't have a set time, allowing you to hop on the bus during its scheduled hours. If you're unable to use the ticket on the booked date, it can be used the day before or after your reservation.
