The bus service from Aguas Calientes to Machu Picchu begins at Avenida Hermanos Ayar, and the ride to the iconic Inca site spans a brief 30 minutes. As you travel, you can unwind in our air-conditioned vehicle.

This bus route utilizes the Hiram Bingham Route, named in honor of the American politician and explorer who initially revealed the existence of Machu Picchu to the world. The path stretches 5 miles (8 kilometers) and features a zig-zag layout.

Skip the Lines

By purchasing this ticket ahead of time, you can avoid the lengthy queues often seen in Aguas Calientes for public transport tickets to Machu Picchu, particularly during the peak months of July and August. However, please note that some waiting may be necessary to board the bus.

Schedule and Frequency

The bus transfer operates from 5:30 am to 5 pm, with departures occurring every 10 minutes.

Your ticket is not time-specific, allowing you the flexibility to board at any point during operation hours. If you're unable to utilize your ticket on the scheduled date, it can also be redeemed on the day prior or following the date of your original reservation.
