With your round-trip ticket, you'll avoid busy queues and depart from central Aguas Calientes to Machu Picchu.

The bus to Machu Picchu departs from Avenida Hermanos Ayar and the journey takes 30 minutes in an air-conditioned vehicle.

The bus follows the Hiram Bingham Route, covering 5 miles (8 kilometres) in a zig-zag pattern.

Skip the lines

Booking in advance allows you to skip the long lines for public transportation tickets, particularly in July and August. You may still have to wait to board the bus.

Schedule and frequency

The bus transfer operates from 5:30 am to 5 pm, with departures every 10 minutes. Your ticket won't have a set time, allowing you to board anytime during scheduled hours. If the ticket is unused on the reserved date, it can be used the day before or after.
