Machu Picchu Excursion

The tour meets at the Aguas Calientes train station and from there, we'll set off on a 30 to 45-minute journey to Machu Picchu.

Once we arrive at the citadel of the archaeological site, we'll go on a 2.5-hour tour. The site is located in the Andes mountain range, 2430 meters (8,000 feet) above sea level.

Built before the 15th century, the Machu Picchu complex, whose name means "Old Mountain," was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1981. Your expert guide will bring this ancient and mysterious culture back to life, on your tour of the site known as one of the Seven Wonders of the Modern World. Having wandered the streets of this legendary Inca jewel and learned about its history, depending on the speed of the group, you'll have free time to take those photographs you'll cherish forever, or simply sit back and drink in the unparalleled views. At the end of your excursion, we'll head back to Aguas Calientes.

Tickets

Please note that your reservation won't be fully confirmed until you receive an e-mail from the local tour company with your tickets, as the date selected may be affected by high demand and the limited capacity of Machu Picchu.

Important

In the event that the activity is cancelled due to strikes or poor weather conditions, you'll be offered an alternative date to take part in the tour. If it is not possible to organise an alternative date, please note that you will be refunded the full amount paid for the activity, except for the Machu Picchu entrance fee (200 PEN), which cannot be cancelled.
