Upon making your reservation, you'll have the option to select from different trains heading to Ollantaytambo, with a travel time of approximately ninety minutes. Both train services feature an onboard cafeteria where you can purchase snacks and beverages.

Expedition Train

Choosing the Expedition train allows you to traverse the Peruvian Andes from Aguas Calientes to Ollantaytambo. The breathtaking landscapes en route promise to captivate you, and large windows provide excellent viewing opportunities throughout the journey.

Vistadome Train

Traveling on the Vistadome train offers a unique and enjoyable experience. The carriages are designed with panoramic windows on both walls and ceilings, immersing you in the beautiful natural surroundings. As you take in the stunning sights, informative audio commentary shares interesting details about the landmarks along the way to Ollantaytambo.

Limited Availability

It is important to note that train tickets to Machu Picchu have very limited availability. Therefore, we suggest booking as early as possible. If your chosen option is sold out, alternative services will be offered: Voyager for Expedition and 360 for Vistadome, maintaining the same route and closely matching the original schedule.

Once your reservation is confirmed, you will receive your official tickets 48 hours prior to the train's departure, which will enable you to board.
