Ollantaytambo by Train

Ollantaytambo Train Ticket

When booking, you can choose the train to Ollantaytambo from Aguas Calientes station, which takes an hour and a half. Both options include a cafeteria service on board.

Expedition Train

If you choose the Expedition train, you'll cross the Peruvian Andes from Aguas Calientes to Ollantaytambo, enjoying the landscapes through the large windows of the train.

Vistadome Train

On the Vistadome train, you will travel with panoramic windows in the walls and ceilings, allowing you to connect with nature. During the journey, explanatory audio will provide information about the places along the route to Ollantaytambo.

Limited Availability

Trains to Machu Picchu have very limited availability, so it is recommended to book well in advance. If your selected option is not available, you will be offered equivalent options: Voyager instead of Expedition and 360 instead of Vistadome, maintaining the same route and a similar timetable.

After booking, 48 hours before the train departs, you will receive your official tickets to board the trains.
