Pico Island Volcanoes & Lakes Tour

Having met up at the indicated time at the Terminal Marítimo da Madalena, we'll set off from this western point on the island for the plains further inland.

During our journey, we'll cross a beautiful set of mountains and lakes until we get to Pico da Urze, one of the island's main volcanoes. We'll stop here for a tasty picnic lunch, which will include a sandwich or a salad plus fruit, a cereal bar, water, and juice.

After eating, we'll continue the tour by visiting the Casa dos Vulcões Centre of Interpretation, where we'll learn about the volcanic activity of the Azores archipelago. After this visit, we'll make our way to some of Pico Island's other lakes and volcanoes, ideal for enjoying the beautiful scenery of the Azores.

We'll then return to the meeting point in Madalena, where we should arrive 8 hours after our departure.
