Routes & Stops

Red Route

The red route of the Medina Tourist Bus has eight different stops around the city. Visit the site of the battle of Uhud, shop at Al-Noor Mall or on Abu Bakr Road, and see the Quba Mosque, one of the oldest in the world.

Green Route

The green route circles the centre of Medina, with four stops around the Al-Masjid an-Nabawi, "the Prophet's Mosque," one of the largest mosques in the world and the second holiest place in Islam. This location also houses Muhammed's tomb.

How Does It Work?

Your ticket will be valid for 24 hours from the time of first use. For example, if used on a Monday at 3 pm, it will be valid until Tuesday at 3 pm. You can hop on and off the buses at any of the stops along the routes during this time.

The voucher can be used for 12 months following the start date specified when making your reservation.

Operating Times

Both the red route and the green route operate from 5:30 am to 12:30 pm and from 4:30 pm to 11:30 pm.

The complete duration of the tour is 60 minutes, with departures every 30 minutes.
