After meeting our guide at the foot of the King George V statue, we will begin our guided food tour of Chennai. The first part will take us through the streets of the historic city center. We will visit traditional food stores to taste some of the best regional dishes.

With our appetite whetted, our guide will show us how to prepare delicious sweets from Chennai and India. After observing the preparation, you will have the opportunity to taste these pastries.

Later, we will stop at a local cafe for a cup of Indian tea brewed in a traditional clay pot. As we relax, we will hear facts about the city's cuisine.
