Night Tour of Chennai
We will meet at Fort St. George at 7 pm, where the tour begins with a history of this 17th-century building, the first British fortress in India.
Next, we will visit St. Mary's Anglican Church, known for its white decoration and architecture. The tour continues at the Victory War Memorial, honoring the Allies' triumph in both World Wars, enhanced by the warm glow of sunset.
The night tour progresses across the Napier Bridge, the oldest bridge in the city, and then to the University of Madras, India's third oldest university. We will also visit the Anna Samadhi Memorial, where you will learn about Conjeevaram Natarajan Annadurai, the last Chief Minister of Madras.
The tour concludes at the Statue of Work on Marina Beach by 9 pm, allowing you to explore the vibrant nightlife afterward.
