Night Tour of Chennai
At 7 pm, we will meet up at Fort St. George. The tour begins with a history of this 17th-century building, the first British fortress in India.
Next, we will visit St. Mary's Anglican Church, notable for its white decoration and architecture. You will then encounter the Victory War Memorial, which honors the Allies' triumphs in both World Wars, enhanced by the warm glow of sunset.
The tour continues across the Napier Bridge, the oldest in the city, and includes views of the University of Madras, India's third oldest university. We will proceed to the Anna Samadhi Memorial to learn about Conjeevaram Natarajan Annadurai, the last Chief Minister of Madras.
The final stop is the Statue of Work on Marina Beach, one of Chennai's liveliest districts. The tour concludes at 9 pm, allowing you to explore the vibrant nightlife afterwards.
