At the scheduled time, we will meet up at the entrance to the Marundeeswarar Temple. This Hindu sanctuary, dedicated to the deity Shiva, is one of the most important temples of Chennai due to its architecture and its previous role as a center of healing and medical learning.

Our spiritual tour continues with a walk to the Pamban Swamigal temple, honoring the 19th-century poet now considered a Saivite Hindu saint. After learning about this shrine, we visit the Arupadai Veedu Murugan temple, dedicated to the son of Shiva.

The next stop is the Ashtalakshmi temple, a colorful landmark dedicated to the god Lakshmi, representing eight aspects of Hindu tradition.

The tour concludes at the Annai Vailankanni sanctuary, a Catholic church blending gothic and Indian elements, visited by many Christian pilgrims throughout the year.
