Visit three of the most beautiful and historic cities in Spain in one day on this day trip to Toledo, Segovia and Ávila from Madrid.

Day Trip to Toledo, Segovia and Ávila

We'll meet at the centre of Madrid at the indicated time and then head to Toledo, a city recognized as a World Heritage Site. Known as the City of Three Cultures, we will explore its architectural heritage reflecting Christian, Jewish and Muslim origins. The tour will include the old town, with views of the Alcazar, Cathedral of Toledo and Monastery of San Juan de los Reyes. Subject to availability, we may visit the inside of the Cathedral.

Next, we'll travel to Segovia, where you'll have free time for lunch. We will reconvene to visit the Roman Aqueduct and discuss its significance, followed by views of the cathedral and a visit to the Alcazar of Segovia.

Our last destination is Ávila. We will appreciate the city’s impressive walls, known as the best preserved in Spain, walk around the medieval citadel, and see the Ávila Cathedral. We will also visit the Mirador de los Cuatro Postes viewpoint for scenic photo opportunities.

We will conclude the day by returning to Madrid, with the goodbye occurring at the meeting point after between 11 and 13 hours.

Itinerary Order

Please note, for organisational reasons, the order of visits may vary. In some instances, we may visit Segovia first, followed by free time in Ávila, and conclude with Toledo in the afternoon.
