Segovia, Escorial and The Valley of the Fallen Excursion Itinerary

Departing from Madrid at 8:45 am, the tour heads towards the Madrid Sierra mountain range, reaching the San Lorenzo de El Escorial Monastery after about an hour. A guided tour inside the UNESCO World Heritage Site reveals details such as the Royal Pantheon, favorite rooms of monarchs, and the Royal Library's collection.

Located just 10 minutes away is The Valley of the Fallen, where visitors explore the basilica with its towering cross and learn about Spanish Civil War anecdotes. After returning to Madrid for lunch, the group reconvenes at 3 pm to journey to Segovia for a walking tour of the old town, featuring more than just the famous aqueduct.

The day concludes with a guided tour of the Cathedral of Segovia, offering insights into the royal residences within the old palace. The tour wraps up back in Madrid around 8 pm.
