Faunia is a park in Madrid that combines natural and thematic elements in an area of 16 hectares. It has more than 1,200 animals distributed in 152 different species.

These are organized in four ecosystems: The Jungle, the Pole Ecosystem, the African Forest and the Tempered Forest, each carefully designed to imitate the conditions of light, humidity and temperature of their original habitats.

In La Jungle, you can see manatees and macaws enjoying a tropical environment. The Pole Ecosystem is dedicated to several species of penguins in an environment similar to Antarctica. The African Forest allows to observe lemurs and birds of Madagascar, while the Tempered Forest is home to species such as muntjac and damisela crane.

Faunia also has additional thematic areas, such as a novice and a cave, which have different species and ecosystems. It also offers educational activities and lectures on the conservation of endangered species, collaborating with entities such as the Fundación Parques Reunidos and EAZA.

In addition, Faunia provides a pleasant and educational experience about nature, ideal for the whole family.
