Madrid Mysteries & Legends Tour

The old quarter of Madrid holds great mysteries and legends. The guided tour starts at Pontejos Square, the site of an old gate where criminals were once dealt with by guards. From there, we'll visit Plaza de la Provincia and discuss Madrid's underground at the Palace of Santa Cruz.

We'll then explore the La Latina neighborhood, passing through Plaza de Puerta Cerrada, Cebada Market, and the San Isidro Museum to learn about the city's origins and its patron saint. Our route continues to the Segovia Viaduct, known for tragic events, and then to the Almudena Cathedral and Royal Palace, each with its own historical legends.

The tour concludes in front of the Royal Monastery of La Encarnación, where we delve into the life of a unique saint and explore a tale from the Spanish Inquisition era.
