Our tour begins at Pontejos Square, the site of a historic gate where guards managed city access with strict vigilance. From there, we will proceed to Plaza de la Provincia in front of the Palace of Santa Cruz, headquarters of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, to discuss Madrid's underground transportation system.

Next, we will visit the La Latina neighbourhood, one of Madrid's oldest areas. We will explore Plaza de Puerta Cerrada, Cebada Market, and the San Isidro Museum, focusing on the city's origins and its patron saint's miracles.

Our route will lead us to the Segovia Viaduct, where we will cover tragic events associated with this bridge. We will then admire the Almudena Cathedral from the outside and discuss a 19th-century legend. Close by, the Royal Palace offers a dark legend to discover.

Concluding our 2-hour tour, we will gather in front of the Royal Monastery of La Encarnación to learn about a unique saint and revisit tales from the Spanish Inquisition.
