Segovia Day Trip
When making your reservation, you can choose from the following options, which all depart from central Madrid.
5-Hour Tour
We'll leave Madrid towards the Sierra de Guadarrama. After about 90 minutes, we'll arrive for a walking tour through the historic centre of Segovia, seeing iconic monuments like the Aqueduct of Segovia. You'll discover how it has stood for over 2000 years.
Continuing towards the Plaza Mayor, we'll pass by the Casa de los Picos and reach the cathedral of Segovia, built between the 16th and 18th centuries, known as the Lady of the Cathedrals. Depending on your option, you may take a guided tour inside the cathedral or enjoy free time in Segovia.
Next, we'll visit the Alcázar of Segovia, where interesting facts about Castilian kings will be revealed. If you have chosen the option with tickets, you'll be able to enter this fortress, otherwise, you'll have free time in the surrounding area.
After the visit to the palace, we will return to Madrid.
11-Hour Tour + Lunch
After meeting in Madrid, we will travel to Segovia, enjoying a walking tour through its old town. We'll have a guided tour of the Cathedral, highlighting gothic style with Renaissance features.
We'll also visit the Alcázar of Segovia, followed by a traditional Castilian lunch, which includes La Granja beans, Segovian suckling pig, dessert, and a drink. In the afternoon, we'll return to Madrid, completing the tour after a total of 11 hours.
Tickets
When booking the 5-hour tour, you can choose an option that includes tickets to the Alcázar of Segovia and the Cathedral. The 11-hour tour includes admission fees until April 1, 2025. After this date, admission will no longer be included.
