Sierra de Guadarrama National Park Day Trip

Enjoy a day away from the hustle and bustle of Madrid with this day trip to the Sierra Guadarrama National Park. We'll also visit Manzanares El Real and the Monastery of El Paular.

Day Trip Details

We'll meet at the designated time at Plaza de España in the center of Madrid. From there, we'll take a comfortable bus north towards the Sierra Guadarrama National Park, where we'll experience landscapes of great environmental value.

In less than an hour, we'll reach our first stop, the Manzanares El Real Castle, to view the Castle of the Mendoza, a 15th-century fortress.

Next, we'll proceed to La Pedriza for a walking tour of its geological landscapes. We'll also explore notable areas of the Sierra de Guadarrama: the port of Cotos and Navacerradas.

In Rascafría, you will have time for lunch on your own at a restaurant. Afterward, we will pass by the Finnish Forest and view the Monastery of El Paular from outside.

Finally, from Rascafría, we'll return to the starting point in Madrid, arriving 10 hours after pickup.
