Sierra de Guadarrama National Park Day Trip

Enjoy a day away from the hustle and bustle of Madrid with this day trip to the Sierra Guadarrama National Park. We'll also visit Manzanares El Real and the Monastery of El Paular.

Day Trip Details

We'll meet at the designated time at Plaza de España in Madrid. From there, we'll board a bus and head north to the Sierra Guadarrama National Park, known for its scenic landscapes.

In less than an hour, we'll arrive at our first stop, the Manzanares El Real Castle, where we will see the Castle of the Mendoza from outside, an ancient fortress dating back to the 15th century.

Next, we will go to La Pedriza for a walking tour to explore its geological richness and local fauna, including the port of Cotos and Navacerradas.

Our next destination is Rascafría, where you can have lunch on your own in a restaurant. After lunch, we will pass by the Finnish Forest and the Monastery of El Paular, which will also be viewed from outside.

Finally, we will return to Madrid, arriving 10 hours after pickup.
