Chateau de Maisons Tickets

With this entrance ticket to the Maisons-Laffitte castle, you'll be able to admire the most important French baroque architecture in the Paris area. It's the work of Francois Mansart, the famous 14th-century architect and the one to blame for Paris being full of famous "mansards", black roofs with windows from which you'll also see in the castle.

Once inside you can roam at your leisure around the baroque rooms that make up the castle. Did you know that one of the rooms was reserved for when Louis XIV visited? Here, you'll be able to experience what it was like to be one of his courtiers, and you'll be given an explanatory leaflet in English to discover more about the secret history of the Courts.

Don't forget to visit the Chateau de Maisons gardens which are part of the complex. A perfect example of a French garden and a perfect spot to relax.

Opening Times

Chateau de Maisons opens every day except Tuesdays at the following times:

16 May to 15 September: from 10 am to 12:30 pm and from 2 to 6 pm.16 September to 15 May: from 10 am to 12:30 pm and from 2 to 5 pm.

On December 24th and 31st, the palace will close at 4 pm.

The last access is allowed 30 minutes before closing time.

Please keep in mind that these opening times are flexible and are subject to changes.

Free Admission

Admission to the Chateau de Maisons is free for the following individuals:

Young people from the European Union between 18 and 25 years old.Children under 18 years old, regardless of their nationality.

Admission is also free for everyone on the first Sunday of the month between January 1 and March 31, between November 1 and December 31, and the third weekend of September.

In order to acquire the free admission mentioned above, you'll have to go to the site’s ticket office and present a certifying document of your eligibility for a free ticket.
