Antequera Dolmens & El Torcal Day Trip
On our day trip to the Antequera Dolmens and El Torcal, we will depart from Malaga and visit the Dolmens of Viera and Menga as well as the El Torcal Nature Reserve.
At 8:30 am, we will meet on Calle San Rafael in Malaga and head to Antequera. Our first stop will be the Dolmens of Viera and Menga, a megalithic complex over 6,000 years old, recognized as a World Heritage Site and one of the earliest examples of prehistoric monumental architecture in Europe.
Next, we will visit the Tholos del Romeral. After this site, we will proceed to the El Torcal de Antequera Nature Reserve, known for its impressive karst landscape, also designated as a World Heritage Site.
You will be dropped off in the historic center of Antequera at 1:30 pm, providing time for lunch and exploration. Before concluding the trip, you will receive a tourist map of the city and a bus ticket for your return to Malaga. The public bus departs Antequera at 5:15 pm.
