On this day trip to the Caminito del Rey, we will visit a major tourist attraction in the province of Malaga.

Day Trip Details

At the indicated time, we'll meet at the designated meeting point in Malaga city. From there, we will proceed to one of the impressive gorges. We will travel through the Alcaparaín mountain range, observing orange groves and several Andalusian white villages. A 30-minute stop in the village of Ardales will allow you to stretch or have a snack.

Next, we will hike the Caminito del Rey from the northern access located in Ardales. This hike lasts between 2.5 and 3 hours and includes crossing a spectacular footbridge, inaugurated in 1925 by King Alfonso XIII. During the hike, you will see the Guadalhorce reservoir and descend the famous staircase of the Caminito del Rey. You will also discover the area's geology, wildlife, and landscapes. The footbridge is nearly 105 m (344 ft) above the Gaitanes Gorge and offers panoramic views of the Sierra de Málaga. We will stop at key viewpoints for photos and informative insights.

After the Caminito del Rey, we will return to the starting point, concluding the day trip, which lasts between 7 and 8 hours.
