Travel from Malaga to one of the main tourist attractions of the province on our Caminito del Rey Day Trip. You'll walk through the famous Gaitanes Gorge and admire incredible views of Malaga's rugged landscape.

Caminito del Rey Day Trip

We'll meet at Avenida de Andalucía, at the bus stop 2009, and board a minibus that will take us northwest through the province of Malaga's inland countryside.

During the journey, we'll cross the Alcaparaín mountain range and see orange groves and several Andalusian white villages. A half-hour stop will be made in the village of Ardales for a break or snack on your own.

For approximately 3 hours, we'll walk around 4.8 km (3 miles) along the Caminito del Rey from the northern access in Ardales, crossing several tunnels. The hike includes views of the Guadalhorce reservoir and the famous stairs of the Caminito del Rey.

The Caminito del Rey tour focuses on geology, wildlife, and landscapes. The footbridge, suspended almost 340 ft (105 meters) above the Gaitanes Gorge, offers panoramic views of the Sierra de Málaga. The walk will take around 2.5-3 hours, with stops at viewpoints for photos and information.

After enjoying the Caminito del Rey, we will conclude the excursion at the starting point.
