Located in the Villalón Palace, the Carmen Thyssen Museum is a main art gallery in Malaga. Your ticket provides access to the permanent collection with an audio guide. The ground floor features Romantic Landscape and Costumbrismo, displaying works like View of the River Guadalquivir by Manuel Barrón y Carrillo and A Confraternity in Procession along Calle Génova by Alfred Dehodencq.
The first floor is divided into Old Masters and Précieux Style and Naturalist Painting, showcasing Santa Marina by Francisco Zurbarán and North African Landscape by Mariano Fortuny. The second floor is dedicated to Fin-de-Siécle with works like Rocks at Jávea and the White Boat by Joaquín Sorolla.
Your ticket also grants access to temporary exhibitions on the third floor.

The Carmen Thyssen Museum has the following hours:
June 30 to August 15:
Monday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday: 10 am to 5 pm (final admission at 4:30 pm)Tuesday to Wednesday: 7 pm to 11 pm (final admission at 10:30 pm)
August 24 to June 29:
Tuesday to Sunday: 10 am to 8 pmClosed on Mondays, except for public holidaysDecember 24 and 31: 10 am to 3 pm
Special schedule during the Málaga Fair: August 16 to August 23, 10 am to 3 pm.
The ticket office closes 30 minutes before the museum closes. The exhibition rooms will be emptied 5 minutes before closing.
