Located in the Villalón Palace in the historical centre of Malaga, the Carmen Thyssen Museum is a major art gallery. Your ticket grants access to the permanent collection with an audio guide. The ground floor features Romantic Landscape and Costumbrismo, including works like View of the River Guadalquivir by Manuel Barrón y Carrillo and A Confraternity in Procession along Calle Génova by Alfred Dehodencq. The first floor is split into Old Masters and Précieux Style and Naturalist Painting, showcasing paintings like Santa Marina by Francisco Zurbarán and North African Landscape by Mariano Fortuny. The second floor features Fin-de-Siécle artworks, including Rocks at Jávea and the White Boat by Joaquín Sorolla. Your ticket also includes access to temporary exhibitions on the third floor.

The Carmen Thyssen Museum in Málaga has the following opening hours:

Tuesday to Sunday: 10 am to 8 pmClosed on Monday, except on public holidaysDecember 24 and 31: 10 am to 3 pmSpecial schedule during the Málaga Fair: August 17 to August 24, 10 am to 3 pm (closed on Monday)

The box office closes 30 minutes before, and the exhibition rooms close five minutes prior to the museum's closing.
