Day 1: Malang - Mount Bromo

At the agreed time, we'll collect you from your hotel or Malang airport, based on your choice. Our destination will be the Bromo Tengger Semeru National Park, where we will lodge for the night.

Once you arrive, the remainder of the day is yours to explore the lush surroundings of the hotel. After enjoying dinner, it's advisable to rest early, as the next day promises to be action-packed!

Day 2: Mount Bromo - Bondowoso

Ahead of dawn at 3 am, we’ll board a 4x4 vehicle to reach Mount Penanjakan. Here, you’ll be greeted with a breathtaking sunrise over Mount Bromo. While we await this beautiful spectacle, feel free to enjoy a warm cup of coffee.

Following this, we will traverse the sea of sand and start our ascent to the crater of Mount Bromo. Did you know that this volcano rises more than 2,300 meters (7,545 feet) and remains active? We will share fascinating insights about its geological history as we take in the stunning views of the crater and of Semeru, the tallest peak in Java.

We'll visit a Hindu temple nearby, after which we’ll stop for breakfast at a local eatery. Recharged, we’ll proceed to Bondowoso, taking a break for lunch en route. You’ll then have the evening free in this charming town nestled in the foothills of the Ijen volcano, where we will spend the night.

Day 3: Bondowoso - Ijen Volcano - Malang

Our final day embarks with an early start as we head to the Ijen volcano. While we walk, a light picnic breakfast awaits us. Upon arrival at our destination, we'll embark on a night trek lasting about an hour, reaching the crater just before dawn.

Prepare yourself to behold the blue fire of the Ijen volcano. Experience the spectacle of flashing lights emerging as sulphur gases ignite upon contact with oxygen, creating a surreal sight.

Our return journey to Malang will commence thereafter, with a lunch stop along the way. We expect to reach our destination between 4 pm and 5 pm.
