Mount Bromo Sunrise Day Trip

On this day trip to Mount Bromo from Malang, you'll discover the most famous volcano on the island of Java and enjoy the views of an Indonesian sunrise.

Day Trip Details

At the designated time, we will pick you up from your hotel in Malang and begin our journey northeast in an off-roading vehicle.

After approximately 2 hours of travel, we will reach Mount Bromo National Park, part of the Tengger massif. We'll rest at a warung cabin as we wait for the sunrise, admiring the view from Love Hill or King Kong Hill, depending on the weather.

After the sunrise, we will return to the off-roading vehicle to head to the volcano crater. A hike will take approximately 1.5 to 2 hours, depending on the group's pace, with stops along the way. Bring breakfast for the hike.

Lastly, we will visit the whispering sand area and the savanna, known as Teletubbies Hill. We will then return to our starting point before heading back to your hotel in Malang, concluding the trip after a total of 11.5 hours.
