Explore the scenery of one of the most beautiful spots in Uruguay– Cabo Polonio National Park. You will also stroll along the wild beaches of La Pedrera and La Paloma.
Cabo Polonio Private Day Trip
Pickup will be at your hotel around 10 am, starting the journey to the beach of La Pedrera on the Uruguayan coast of Rocha. This area comprises several seaside resorts and coastal towns with golden sandy beaches and rock formations.
The trip continues north to the terminal of Cabo. A 4x4 will be used to navigate the sandy roads leading to Cabo Polonio National Park. This natural reserve is home to only fifty inhabitants and features three islets known as Islas Torres (Torres Islands) near the shore.
A visit to the lighthouse, the most iconic landmark in Cabo Polonio, will provide insights into the history of this 200-year-old structure, recognized as a historical monument.
After free time on the beach, the itinerary includes a stop at the beach resort of La Paloma to watch the sunset over the Uruguayan beaches.
The day concludes with a return to the hotel in Punta del Este, estimated around 8 pm.
