Explore the scenery of one of the most beautiful spots in Uruguay– Cabo Polonio National Park. Also, you'll stroll along the wild beaches of La Pedrera and La Paloma.
Cabo Polonio Private Day Trip
We'll pick you up at your hotel around 10 am and start our journey to the beach of La Pedrera, located on the Uruguayan coast of Rocha. This area includes several seaside resorts and coastal towns, known for golden sandy beaches and rock formations on the shore.
We're continuing our trip north until we reach the terminal of Cabo. There, we'll exchange our vehicle for a 4x4 to drive along the sandy roads leading to Cabo Polonio National Park. This natural reserve is home to around fifty people and features the three islets known as Islas Torres (Torres Islands) nearby.
Next, we'll visit the iconic lighthouse in Cabo Polonio, learning about the history of this 200-year-old structure and its designation as a historical monument.
After enjoying free time on the beach, we'll head to the beach resort of La Paloma, where you'll watch the sun setting over the Uruguayan beaches.
Finally, after a day exploring Cabo Polonio’s nature, we'll return to the hotel in Punta del Este at around 8 pm.
