José Ignacio Resort Private Excursion

After hotel pickup, we will head to La Barra, a town known for its colorful houses, art galleries, nightclubs, and restaurants. You will visit well-known beaches like Montoya, Bikini, and Manantiales along the southern coast, culminating at the José Ignacio beach resort.

In José Ignacio, observe the lifestyle of local fishermen contrasted with the affluent individuals who frequent the area in summer. Key sites include the beaches, the José Ignacio Lighthouse, the main square, the amphitheater, and the parish of Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception.

A break will be provided for you to have lunch at your leisure while enjoying the calm sea and white sand of the natural beach. After this, we will begin our return to Punta del Este.

On the way back, we will visit the Pablo Atchugarry Foundation and the Museum of the Sea, which features an extensive collection of marine life with over 5,000 specimens, including sea urchins, starfish, corals, whale skeletons, turtle shells, and shark jaws.

We will arrive back at the hotel in Punta del Este around 2 pm.
