Subsequently, we will visit Sultan Park, a tribute to the first Sultan of the island, along with the impressive Presidential Palace and the celebrated Independence Square, locally known as Jumhooree Maidhaan.
Following our exploration of these monumental sites and a rich discussion on the Maldives' history, we will proceed to a fish market. Here, you'll gain insight into the critical role this sector plays in the livelihoods of the island's residents.
