Asterousia Mountain & Villages Jeep Safari

Pickup will occur at 8 am from your hotel in Malia. We will take a jeep towards the south of Crete, where mountains, villages, and beaches await discovery.

Our first stop is Agios Myronas, where you will learn about the local history and the legends of the holy water in Agios Myronas.

Next, we will explore Prinias to visit the Rakokazano and learn about the process of making raki, including a tasting experience along with local homemade sweets.

We will then climb 800 meters (2625 ft) at the foothills of Asterousia Mountain to enjoy stunning views of the Cretan landscape.

Our journey continues through the gorges of Asterousia to Trypitis Beach, where we will enjoy a meal consisting of a main course, salad, and dessert. A swimming opportunity in the clear waters is also available before we continue.

The final stop will be Agios Thomas, where we will visit Roman tombs and Byzantine churches. The tour will conclude with drop-off at your hotel in Malia around 4 pm.
