Your journey begins with a hotel pick-up in Malia at 8 am. Once aboard the robust all-terrain vehicle, we’ll embark on our expedition towards the southeastern region of Crete.

As we travel, you will be surrounded by the island’s breathtaking mountainous scenery, leading us to the historic village of Kritsa. Here, we’ll wander through its charming streets, admire its traditional homes, and visit local shops, all while uncovering fascinating stories about this remarkable place.

Continuing our adventure, we will ascend the magnificent Katharo plateau, standing at an elevation of 1250 meters (4100 ft), where a panoramic view of Crete unveils itself—a vista adorned with lush landscapes and grazing sheep.

Next, we’ll explore the serene Selakano forest, a brief yet scenic stop before making our way to the Sarakina gorge. Here, we’ll step out of the jeep to hike and fully appreciate the beauty of this remarkable gorge.

Feeling hungry? We will enjoy a delectable meal that includes a main dish, fresh salad, and a sweet dessert. After our lunch break, we’ll proceed to Myrtos, where you can relax and enjoy a refreshing swim in the sea, providing a perfect conclusion to our tour.

As the day comes to a close, we will return to Malia, aiming to have you back at your hotel by approximately 4 pm.
