Kavoussi, Skouros and Richtra Jeep Safari

At 8 am, pick-up will be from your hotel in Malia. We will depart in a jeep to the southern region of Crete.

Our first stop is the small village of Viannos, notable for its traditional Greek architecture from the 20th century and remnants of various civilizations, including the Phoenicians and Romans. We will visit the Viannos Museum and make a brief stop at a café.

Next, we travel to Kavoussi canyon and ascend to the top of this 850-meter-tall gorge for a view of the island. There may be opportunities to see local vultures.

We will continue to explore Southern Crete's natural landscapes, arriving at Richtra waterfall, formed by the meeting of two canyons. Following this, we will reach Skouros beach, where you can enjoy a 45-minute swim.

After swimming, we will have a meal at a local restaurant that includes a main dish, salad, and dessert. We will then return to Malia.

Drop-off at your hotel will be around 4 pm, concluding the safari tour.
