Kavoussi, Skouros, and Richtra Jeep Safari

Your adventure begins at 8 am with a pickup from your accommodation in Malia. Climb aboard the jeep as we set out for the captivating landscapes of southern Crete.

Our journey will first take us to the quaint village of Viannos, showcasing traditional Greek architecture from the early 20th century. As we stroll through its streets, you'll uncover the traces of various civilizations, including the Phoenicians and Romans, that have called this island home throughout history. A visit to the Viannos Museum will enhance your understanding, followed by a quick coffee break at a local café.

We’ll then resume our exploration, making our way to Kavoussi Canyon. Ascending to the mouth of this towering 850-meter gorge offers sweeping views of the island. With a bit of luck, you might catch a glimpse of the majestic vultures soaring above.

Continuing our route, we'll enjoy the breathtaking landscapes of Southern Crete until we arrive at Richtra Waterfall, where two canyons converge, creating this beautiful natural phenomenon. Next up is Skouros Beach, where you'll have 45 minutes to relax and swim in the crystal-clear waters.

After your refreshing swim, we'll head to a local eatery for a satisfying meal that includes a main course, salad, and dessert. Once recharged, we’ll make our way back to Malia.

By approximately 4 pm, we will return you to your hotel, concluding our fantastic safari adventure.
