Palace of Knossos & Lasithi Plateau Excursion

At 7:30 am, you will be picked up from the arranged meeting point in Malia. The first stop is the Palace of Knossos, one of the most emblematic sites in Crete.

Explore the palace complex of the former King Minos featuring over 1,500 interconnected rooms. Discover the throne room, royal quarters, and the stone theater, and learn about the legend of the Cretan Minotaur.

View the stunning murals preserved inside, which are significant remnants of the Minoans, considered Europe’s most advanced ancient culture. After the palace, the tour proceeds to Lasithi Plateau.

Stop at the Keras Kardiotissas Monastery, known for its mural paintings, before continuing to see the iconic windmills from the Venetian era.

The tour concludes in the village of Psychro, where participants can enjoy a ceramics workshop. At the end of the excursion, return to the meeting point in Malia, approximately at 6:30 pm.
