Palace of Knossos & Lasithi Plateau Excursion

At 7:30 am, you will be picked up from the arranged meeting point in Malia. The tour proceeds to Heraklion to visit the Palace of Knossos, an emblematic site in Crete.

Explore the palace complex of King Minos, featuring over 1,500 interconnected rooms. Visit the throne room, royal quarters, and stone theater while learning about the legend of the Cretan Minotaur. You will also see the murals, the primary remnants of the Minoans, regarded as Europe's most advanced ancient culture. After touring the Palace of Knossos, the bus will continue to Lasithi Plateau to appreciate Crete's natural beauty.

The first stop will be Keras Kardiotissas Monastery, known for its mural paintings, followed by a visit to Lasithi to view the iconic Venetian-era windmills.

The excursion concludes with a visit to the village of Psychro, where there will be a ceramics workshop. After the tour, you will return to the meeting point in Malia, arriving around 6:30 pm.
