Samaria Gorge Hiking Tour

Early on the morning of the tour, we will gather at the arranged meeting point in Malia. At 5:30 am, we will hit the road for Skaleta in a comfortable minibus.

After a stop in Skaleta for breakfast, we will continue our journey to the Omalos Plateau. Once we arrive, we'll begin our hiking route through Samaria Gorge, starting from Xyloskalo, over 1200 meters above sea level.

Over the course of six or seven hours, you'll explore Samaria National Park, with its lush forests, rock formations, and crystalline waters. The area also features a variety of local wildlife and vegetation.

On the final stretch, we'll visit the famous Iron Gates, the narrowest section of the pass, ideal for photos. The last stop will be in the small fishing village of Agia Roumeli, where you can have lunch at a local restaurant.

After lunch, we'll start our journey back to Malia, arriving around 7:30 pm.
