Spinalonga & Kolokitha Excursion
We'll meet at 8 am in Malia and head to Elounda harbor. There, we'll board a boat and sail to the beach of Kolokitha, where we will anchor for a swim and offer a barbecue on board for those interested.
Next, we will cross the bay of Mirabello to reach the island of Spinalonga, an abandoned site with a history marked by Venetian and Ottoman rule and its many conflicts.
During the tour, we will view the great fortress and imposing walls that protected this islet. Notably, it served as a leper colony at the beginning of the 20th century.
After exploring Cretan history, we will sail back to Malia, arriving at approximately 7 pm.
