4x4 Tour and Hike in the Mampituba Canyons

Description

At the indicated time, we will meet at the Sítio Cultural Museu da Estância, where we will board a 4x4 vehicle to begin our activity in the canyons of Mampituba.

The journey will cover approximately 12 kilometres (7.5 miles) through the Serra do Silveirão, an area rich in stories and legends. Information about these tales will be shared during the trip.

We will continue at the Josafez farm, where we will undertake a hiking route of around 2 kilometres (1.2 miles) along the eastern edge of the Josafez canyon. In the area known as Garganta do Silveirão, we will observe the Lage waterfall and the Teimosa waterfall, along with native wildlife and flora.

After the hike, we will return to the 4x4 and head back to the starting point, stopping at the Avião viewpoint for scenic views and visiting the unique stone cemetery in the region.

After approximately four hours of activity, we will conclude our tour of the Mampituba canyons at the starting point.
