Embark on a rural journey through Mampituba, where you will delve into the rich culture and traditional gastronomy of Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil’s southernmost state.

We will commence our experience at the designated hour at the Sítio Cultural Museu da Estância. Our adventure begins in a classic Volkswagen van, a notable emblem of the hippie era, as we set off on our rural tour through Mampituba.

As we navigate the charming rural scenery, our first destination will be the Engenho Nobre. Here, savor a selection of traditional liquors representative of Rio Grande do Sul.

Afterward, we will return to the Sítio Cultural Museu da Estância. Inside, you'll have the opportunity to explore a comprehensive display featuring agricultural tools, toys, furniture, and various other artifacts that provide a unique window into the rural heritage of Mampituba.

Following this exploration, participate in a craft workshop hosted at the museum. The team at Sítio Cultural, accompanied by live music, will demonstrate the creation of traditional local crafts.

To round off our adventure, indulge in a delightful meal on the museum grounds. Depending on your schedule, it will either be a lunch or a snack. The lunch spread includes juice, a main dish (options: free-range chicken, pork, or beef), rice, beans, polenta, salads, and farofa. Alternatively, the snack features juice, coffee with milk, pastries, bread, jams, pork rinds, cheese, salami, blood sausage, pastries, sweet milk, and pine nuts.

With our appetites satisfied, we will conclude our visit at Sítio Cultural after approximately 3 to 4 hours.
