Mampituba Waterfalls 4x4 Tour and Hike

In this hiking route through the Mampituba waterfalls, we'll go to the most famous waterfalls of Rio Grande do Sul aboard a 4x4 vehicle.

Description

At your selected time, we'll meet at the Sítio Cultural Museu da Estância to begin our 4x4 tour of Mampituba and its waterfalls.

We will traverse an area of lush forests and banana trees before arriving at our first stop, where we will hike the 1.6-kilometre (1 mile) hiking trail to the Leite waterfall, located next to the Itaimbezinho Canyon.

Afterward, we will return to the 4x4 to continue to the second stop, enjoying a hiking trail of about 2 kilometres (1.2 miles) to the Cipó waterfall.

At this waterfall, near the border of Rio Grande do Sul/Santa Catarina, you will have about 20 minutes to take a refreshing dip. The weather in this area is pleasant, providing an opportunity to relax after the hike.

Finally, we will walk back to the trailhead, where the 4x4 vehicle will take us back to Mampituba, arriving approximately 2 hours after pickup.
