Mampituba Waterfalls 4x4 Tour and Hike

In this hiking route through the Mampituba waterfalls, we'll go to the most famous waterfalls of Rio Grande do Sul aboard a 4x4 vehicle.

Description

At your selected time, we'll meet at the Sítio Cultural Museu da Estância, where we'll begin our 4x4 tour of Mampituba and its waterfalls.

We'll start by traveling through an area of lush forests and banana trees before arriving at our first stop. Here, we'll embark on a 1.6-kilometre (1 mile) hiking trail that leads to the Leite waterfall, located next to the Itaimbezinho Canyon, cascading into a natural pool.

Next, we'll return to the 4x4 to continue through Mampituba landscapes and move to our second stop. There, we'll enjoy a hiking trail of around 2 kilometres (1.2 miles), culminating at the Cipó waterfall.

Near the border of Rio Grande do Sul/Santa Catarina, you'll have about 20 minutes to take a refreshing dip. The pleasant weather in this area of southern Brazil will offer a relaxing experience after the hike.

Finally, we'll walk back to the trailhead, where the 4x4 vehicle will be waiting to take us back to Mampituba, with an estimated arrival approximately 2 hours after pickup.
