Tour Details

Day 1

From your hotel in Manaus, we will embark on an hour-long journey to Cachoeira do Castanho. During the trip, we will share interesting facts about the Amazon. Upon arrival, we will board a boat to sail down the Rio Negro to Anaconda Amazon Island, where we will reach our base camp for lunch.

In the afternoon, we will take a canoe trip for piranha fishing and crocodile spotting, returning to camp for dinner.

Day 2

After breakfast, we will start a 3.5-hour hike through the jungle, learning how local indigenous populations utilize Amazon plants. We will return to camp for lunch.

After lunch, we will enjoy a canoe ride along the Amazon tributary system, ending the day back at camp for dinner.

Day 3

We will have breakfast and then walk to an Indian village in the Amazon to learn about local customs and lifestyle. After lunch at camp, you will have the afternoon free to relax in the Rio Negro. We will return to Manaus, dropping you off at your hotel around 4:30 pm.

Accommodation and Food

The tour includes two nights’ accommodation at a campsite in the Amazon, with air-conditioned bedrooms and private bathrooms. You will receive all meals on the itinerary: two breakfasts, two dinners, and three lunches.
